Leesburg Man Charged in Early Morning Stabbing
Leesburg, VA - Shawn Lewis, 56 of Leesburg, has been charged with one count of malicious wounding relating to a stabbing.
Early this morning, the Leesburg Police Department received a report of an adult male at an area hospital receiving treatment for a minor stab wound to his upper body. After conducting an investigation, it was determined that Lewis stabbed the victim after an altercation at a residence in the 700 block of Clark Court NE.
It has further been determined that Lewis and the victim are known to each other.
Officers responded to the location of the stabbing and took Shawn Lewis into custody. Lewis remains held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
