Road Closures to Occur During Flower & Garden Festival

Flower & Garden Festival

Leesburg, VA (April 13, 2023) – Road closures will occur during the annual Flower & Garden Festival, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16. Approximately 150 vendors will fill the streets with seasonal blooms, herbs, gardening supplies, outdoor furniture, and more.

The following streets will be closed for the event beginning on Friday, April 14 at 5:30 p.m.:

  • Market Street from Wirt to Church streets
  • King Street from North to Loudoun streets
  • Cornwall Street from N King to Wirt streets
  • The Liberty Street parking lot will close to new parking at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 14 and reopen on Saturday, April 15 at 10 a.m.

Residential parking along Wirt Street, from North to Union streets, will not be permitted after 2 p.m. on Friday, April 14 through Sunday, April 16 at 10 p.m. Parking along Union Street will also not be permitted during this time. Residents may use the Pennington parking garage or the Leesburg Senior Center for weekend parking.

Cornwall Street, from Church to N King streets, will be closed to thru traffic however, local residents will have access to their property. The entire area will re-open to traffic at approximately 10 p.m. Sunday night.

Public parking for the festival will be available at the following locations:

  • Pennington Garage
  • Ida Lee Parking Field - a free shuttle service, from Ida Lee Park, will run continuously during festival hours both days.
  • Town Garage (Loudoun Street entrance only)
  • Loudoun County Garage

The Flower & Garden Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, rain or shine. Pets are discouraged. For more information, call Ida Lee Park Recreation Center at 703-777-1368 or visit www.flowerandgarden.org.
