Zoning Counter Temporarily Closed Due to COVID-19

Applicants are encouraged to make an appointment or submit zoning documents online.

Leesburg, VA (December 8, 2020) – In light of the continued COVID-19 pandemic, public access to the second floor of Town Hall is temporarily closed.

Anyone who needs to visit the zoning counter will need to make an appointment. Applicants are encouraged to submit their zoning related applications and Certificate of Appropriateness applications electronically by emailing forms and attachments to permitting@leesburgva.gov.

Applications may also be submitted, in person, during normal business hours at Leesburg Town Hall, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Applications can be dropped off at the cart located in the lobby adjacent to the parking garage entry doors. Additionally, there is a phone on the cart where you can simply lift the handset to speak directly with a member of zoning staff if you have questions regarding the permitting process.
