Leesburg Police Respond to Arson, Loudoun County Fire Marshal's Office Investigating

Leesburg, VA – On October 9, 2020 at approximately 8:00 PM, a Leesburg Police Officer on patrol observed a Trump campaign sign on fire in front of a residence in the 700 block of North Street NE. The officer utilized a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire, which had also caused damage to an adjacent fence. The Loudoun County Fire Marshal’s Office responded to the scene and took over the investigation.

The incident remains under investigation by the Loudoun County Fire Marshal’s Office. Anyone who has information about the incident and who has not already spoken to law enforcement is asked to contact the Loudoun County Fire Marshal’s Office at 703-737-8600.
