West Market Street to Temporarily Close Between Ayr Street and Morven Park Road
The closure will run from May 26 to August 24, 2020 to assist with the West Market Street sidewalk project.
Leesburg, VA (May 22, 2020) – Beginning on Tuesday, May 26, West Market Street, between Ayr Street and Morven Park Road, will be closed for construction of the West Market Street sidewalk project.
Approximately 0.2 miles of sidewalk is being replaced along the north side of West Market Street, between Morven Park Road and Ayr Street, with brick sidewalks that will be in compliance with ADA regulations and constructed to provide a safer walking environment.
The first phase of work will include the installation of a water line between Morven Park Road and Ayr Street. The closure is expected to run through August 24, 2020.
