U.S. Customs Facility Opens at Leesburg Executive Airport
Leesburg, VA (March 22, 2019) – Leesburg Mayor Kelly Burk and members of the Leesburg Executive Airport Commission will be joined by Freddy D. Allen, Chief of Passenger Processing at the Port of Washington D.C., U.S. Customs and Border Protection, at the ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new U.S. Customs General Aviation Clearance Facility at the Leesburg Executive Airport.

With the opening of the new U.S. Customs and Border Protection General Aviation Clearance Facility, flights entering the United States from a foreign country can now clear in Leesburg, without having to make an intermediate stop at a different port of entry. On-call Customs and Border Protection personnel based at Dulles will process arriving international flights at the Leesburg Executive Airport by request. This new service will strengthen the airport's position to serve the corporate and general aviation community.
