Leesburg Police Investigating Armed Robbery

Leesburg, VA (August 28, 2018) – At approximately 2:10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28, Leesburg Police officers were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred at a convenience store located in the 100 block of Dry Mill Road SW.

Two male suspects wearing masks had entered the business, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk.  The suspects were last seen fleeing the store on foot. 

Due to the time and circumstances of this incident, there was no immediate threat to public safety.
