VDOT Design Public Hearing for Route 15 Bypass and Edwards Ferry Road Interchange Design on Thursday, May 31, 2018 

Meeting will be at Tolbert Elementary School from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Leesburg, VA (May 16, 2018) – Members of the public are invited to review design plans and project information for the proposed interchange at the Route 15 Bypass and Edwards Ferry Road and improvements to the intersection of the bypass and Fort Evans Road on Thursday, May 31, 2018. The design public hearing will be held at Tolbert Elementary School, located at 691 Potomac Station Drive NE, in Leesburg, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The purpose of this project is to relieve traffic congestion, improve pedestrian and bicycle access, and increase safety. Representatives from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will be available to answer questions about the project. Attendees will be able to give feedback and submit written comments at the meeting.

Anyone unable to attend the meeting can review project information on the VDOT website at www.virginiadot.org/projects and may submit comments via email to meetingcomments@vdot.virginia.gov with “Route 15 Bypass Interchange at Edwards Ferry Road and Fort Evans Road” in the subject line. The deadline for submitting comments is Monday, June 11, 2018.
