Celebrate World Wide Knit in Public Day with events at our City of Fairfax Regional, Great Falls and John Marshall libraries. Bring your projects and chat with fiber friends. Any and all knitters and stitchers are welcome!

Bring the family to for a free rooftop concert by Munit & Z Love Bugs at the Springfield Community Business Center Commuter Parking Garage. Enjoy the music and explore the potential for this new green space.
Pride Picnic in the Gardens (10 a.m. - noon)
Celebrate Pride Month with a community picnic at Green Spring Gardens Park in Alexandria. Bring a picnic and connect with your family, friends and allies. Visit the library to learn about the secret history of flowers and how they were used by the LGBTQ+ community to communicate.
Flag Day Celebration (10 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
Drop in to the Chantilly Regional Library to learn about flag etiquette, the history of the American Flag, listen to stories and create your own flag.
Juneteenth Celebration (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
Celebrate Juneteenth in the City of Fairfax at Old Town Square. This free event will include live performances including spoken word, a steel drum band and a performance by George Mason University Dance.
Touch-a-Truck: Firetruck (10:30 - 11:30 a.m.)
Explore a fire engine, investigate the equipment and talk to community helpers at the Oakton Library. Chat with firefighters who will show us what they wear and why. After the firetruck leaves, enjoy popsicles, tattoos. and crafts.
Ada Ari African Storytelling Reimagined (3 - 4 p.m.)
Come to the Culmore Library in Falls Church to hear the African folktale of Anansi the Spider, learn a popular Ghanaian dance, discover cultural facts about the Ashanti Kingdom and more in this fun program by Ada Ari.
Mosaic Pride Celebration (3 - 9 p.m.)
Join Mosaic’s 4th annual Pride Celebration. The event kicks-off with a parade, followed by drag performances, live music and more.
Eileen Garnett Civic Space Movie Night (8 - 10 p.m.)
