Fairfax County 250 Commissioners made history at "A Common Cause to All." In March, planners from 40 states and 60 Virginia localities convened in Williamsburg, Virginia to coordinate a national commemoration. This landmark gathering celebrated the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, highlighting unity, collaboration, and inclusive storytelling. Home to key Revolutionary figures like George Washington and George Mason, Fairfax County figures prominently in the Revolutionary narrative. The first shot may have been at Lexington and Concord, but the ideas were planted in Fairfax County.
