CSB Introduces Behavioral Health and Developmental Disability Newsletter
The CSB is excited to introduce this new monthly newsletter that will keep community members informed about behavioral health and developmental disabilities services available to residents of Fairfax County.
Do you or a loved one have a mental health concern or need mental health treatment? The CSB is here to help. Call for an assessment and explore counseling services, medication assistance, and wellness support. Instead of waiting hours in the emergency room, the CSB’s 24/7 walk-in crisis response clinic in Merrifield, VA is open to all residents regardless of insurance.
The CSB’s vision is that everyone in our community has the support needed to live a healthy, fulfilling life. The CSB provided services to over 5,000 people with developmental disabilities in FY 2024, helping individuals gain employment and play meaningful roles in their communities. Learn about CSB services for individuals with DD Waivers.

The CSB is the first in the region to offer medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. The Fairfax Detoxification Center in Chantilly, VA is a short-term residential program for adults who need help to safely withdrawal from the effects of drugs and/or alcohol. Additional services include, but are not limited to, residential treatment and peer recovery programs.
The CSB is currently accepting referrals for youth ages 3-18 with mental health concerns, serious emotional disabilities, and substance use challenges. Medication assisted treatment is available.
We're here to help. Contact us today at 703-383-8500.

Be still and breathe… Even one minute of slow, deep breathing can calm our body’s central nervous system. This sets the stage for a better mood, more appropriate responses, and feelings of joy and connectedness.

As part of our collaboration with community partners, the CSB may refer members of the community to other service providers as appropriate to meet their needs.
