Bailey’s Community Center to be Renamed in September Ceremony

• The community is invited to a ceremony renaming Bailey’s Community Center to the Minnie H. Peyton Community Center on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m. at Bailey’s in Falls Church.
• The new name honors Minnie Peyton, a pillar of Springdale, a historically Black community in Bailey’s Crossroads that originated as a home to freedmen since the Civil War.
