The Fairfax Food Council has a few announcements to share.

As the next Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) is developed, the Fairfax County Health Department moves from the completed "Community Health Datawalks" into the next phase, "Root Cause Analysis". The Food Council’s upcoming "Root Cause Analysis" session aims to identify and understand the fundamental challenges to food access in the county. This is a great opportunity to engage in the CHIP process, as your input will be combined with input from other community members to help inform the goals and strategies of the next CHIP. Members of the Fairfax Food Council and anyone interested in the CHIP process are encouraged to attend.
The event will be held in room 2/3 at the Government Center (12000 Government Center Pkwy, Fairfax, VA 22035) on Wednesday, August 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided! Please join us and make your voice heard!
