Kidney Health in Hot Weather

They also help control blood pressure and maintain the balance of electrolytes and fluid. Kidneys contribute to the activation of vitamin D, essential for calcium absorption and bone health. Read about actions you can take to safeguard the health of your kidneys during hot weather in the July issue of the Golden Gazette.
