Watch and listen to a variety of performances this weekend throughout the county as part of our Summer Entertainment Series. Bring a picnic dinner, chairs or blanket and enjoy the music.

Friends of Kings Park Library Ongoing Book Sale: Teachers and Tutors (10 a.m.- 6 p.m.)
Calling all educators! Stop by the Kings Park Library for a special sale featuring a large collection of instructional and educational materials for teachers and tutors.
Wonder Wagon: Mobile Nature Center (11 a.m.- noon)
Step into the world of environmental exploration with the Wonder Wagon at the George Mason Regional Library. Our Park Authority's innovative mobile nature center is packed with engaging activities, from bug-catching to birdwatching.
Yoga and Bonfire Evening at Lake Accotink (7:30- 9:30 p.m.)
Bring your yoga mat to Lake Accotink for an evening sunset, star gazing and a bonfire. The evening’s practice will focus on Hatha techniques to stretch, build core strength and stability to the mind and body.
Full Moon Meditation (8:30- 10 p.m.)
Take time to set intentions for the next month while engaging in mindfulness practices under the full moon at Riverbend Park. Practice a variety of techniques such as breathwork, gentle stretches and purposeful movement. Please bring your own yoga mat or camping chair.

STEM Adventure with the Science Guys (11 a.m.- noon)
Young scientists will embark on a STEM adventure in this thrilling show at the Richard Byrd Library. Kids will explode right into a mission that reveals challenges of defying gravity and electrifying obstacles, all while exploring science principles to navigate an escape.

Growing Low - Designing with Groundcover Plants (9:30- 11 a.m.)
Groundcovers can be a great garden accent with many flowering and evergreen options for sun or shade. Join us at Green Spring Gardens Park for a short lecture on how to use groundcovers to solve design challenges, followed by a walk around the grounds to view some of our gardeners’ favorites.
Leesburg Animal Park Petting Zoo (10 a.m.- noon)
Drop in and visit with adorable pettable farm animals from the Leesburg Animal Park at the Oakton Library.
Animals of the Night (10:30- 11:30 a.m.)
Learn what animals are active in nature while we sleep at the Kingstowne Library. This program includes a lesson using specimens, an activity and a craft or game.
Hungry Hungry Hippos LIVE! (11 a.m.- noon)
Satisfy your hunger for summer fun at Burke Centre Library. Hungry Hungry Hippos Live is a fun and interactive twist on the classic game. Join a life-sized version of the game where teams will compete to get the most balls.
Ladybugs - Fierce or Friendly (1- 2 p.m.)
Most cultures view ladybugs as symbols of good fortune. To some creatures, ladybugs are ferocious predators. Learn of the lore as you meet, greet and release ladybugs at the Hidden Oaks Nature Center.

Make Your Own Snuffle Mat - Pride Edition (noon- 2 p.m.)
Join us at the Animal Shelter's Lorton Campus to make your own rainbow snuffle mat to take home in this free, two-hour class. Snuffle mats stimulate an animal’s natural foraging instincts by mimicking the hunt for food.

Meet Wendy Diaz, Author of Eid Empanadas (11 a.m.- 1 p.m.)
Meet author Wendy Diaz, author of Eid Empanadas, at the Chantilly Regional Library. Enjoy a book talk with a Q&A and book signing. Following the book signing, the audience can enjoy arts and crafts, face painting, balloons and fun.
Fix-It Clinic (2- 4 p.m.)
Do you have an item that needs fixing? Bring small household appliances, electronics, clothing or jewelry to our Fix-It Clinic and receive guided assistance from our handy volunteers at the City of Fairfax Regional Library. Learn how to disassemble, troubleshoot, and if possible, repair your item.
3D Printing Basics (3:30- 4:30 p.m.)
Learn how to create a simple and personalized 3D object using TinkerCAD at the Centreville Regional Library. Submit your own 3D printing request to the library. No experience necessary.

Annual Workhouse Fireworks Event
Saturday, June 29, 6-10 p.m.
Bring the family and watch a fireworks show over the Workhouse Arts Center's 55-acre campus. Before the show, enjoy family-friendly lawn games, performances, food trucks, face painting and more. Learn more.
