Friends of the Reston Regional Library Big Fall Sale
Friday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Join us at the Reston Regional Library for one of its biggest sales of the year. Shop 35-40,000 items in over 20 categories. There are no children books at this sale.

Mosaic Fall Festival
Saturday and Sunday, (11 a.m.-4 p.m.)
The Mosaic District will transform into a vibrant outdoor festival with over 90 handmade and vintage vendors, special performances and an array of activities for the whole family.

Free Dog Fridays (noon-7 p.m.)
Throughout the summer, all dog adoptions will be fee waived every Friday at the Animal Shelter. View available dogs and get more details on our adoption process.

Early Voting Starts (Hours Vary)
Any registered county voter may vote early in person at the Fairfax County Government Center, Mt. Vernon Governmental Center and the North County Governmental Center through Nov. 4. More early voting locations will open on Oct. 26.
Bubble Dance Party (11-11:30 a.m.)
Enjoy a never-ending stream of bubbles while dancing to kid-friendly music at the Patrick Henry Library. All children are welcome and no registration required.
QPR Suicide Prevention Training (10-11:30 a.m.)
Become a resource for someone who might be struggling. Learn to recognize the warning signs, how to intervene and where to refer someone who is in crisis in this free online training.

Free Admission to Great Falls National Park (7 a.m. - 30 minutes after sunset)
Celebrate National Public Lands Day with free admission to Great Falls National Park. Sept. 23 is one of the five days in 2023 that all National Park Service sites offer free admission.

Harvest Happenings (11 a.m.-2 p.m.)
Celebrate autumn with your family at the McLean Community Center. This indoor festival will have live entertainment, a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, craft projects and games.
Green Spring Gardens Fall Fest (9 a.m.-3 p.m.)
Join us at Green Spring Gardens for the annual Fall Festival! The free festival will have activities for the entire family, including demonstrations for children and adults, a silent auction, a book sale, bake sale, vendors and musical entertainment.
Oktoberfest at The Boro (2-5 p.m.)
Celebrate Oktoberfest at The Boro in Tysons. Enjoy specialty German food, a biergarten featuring pumpkin and traditional beer from local breweries, a steinholding competition, a polka band, family activities and giveaways.

Come join us for a fun, interactive community event at Franconia Park. Focused on healthy and active living, this event includes free health screenings, access to community services and resources, fitness classes, hands-on activities and workshops for all ages.

Make Sunday a family fun day at the George Mason Regional Library. Enjoy quality time with your family at this special petting zoo day. No registration required.
Outdoor Yoga at the Lake (10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.)
Come to the waterfront of Lake Accotink Park for yoga in a peaceful, natural setting. Beginners and seasoned yogis are welcome to meditate, stretch and practice breathing techniques while gaining strength and flexibility. Bring a yoga mat, towel and water bottle.
Autumn Craft: Decorate Wooden Coasters (4-5:30 p.m.)
Love the autumn season? Design and paint your very own fall-themed coaster at the George Mason Regional Library.
