City's Newest Mural

"Mother's Helpers" is a vibrant and colorful mural of local forest animals taking part in the recycling effort. A wonderful way to raise awareness and inspire children to take an active role in caring for the environment! Meet the artist, Jessica Pidcock, at the ribbon cutting. (PHOTO SHOWN IS A DETAIL)
The mural was fully funded through the plastic bag tax revenue and is a joint project of The City of Fairfax Environment and Sustainability Division and the Parks & Recreation/Cultural Arts Department.

Legendary: An Exhibition of Women Artists addresses the inequities faced by women artists and aims to rectify them by creating a safe space for them to meet, exhibit and engage with the public.
