Comment on Intermediate Design Plans
The City of Fairfax has developed intermediate (60%) design plans for the University Drive Bicycle Facilities project. A public hearing is scheduled to be held during the Feb. 25 City Council meeting. Meetings begin at 7 p.m. in City Hall and can be watched on Channel 12 (COX/Verizon) or online at fairfaxva.gov.
This project will implement bicycle facilities on University Drive between Layton Hall Drive and South Street. The design includes shared lane markings through the center of Old Town and bicycle lanes to the north. The project also includes improvements at the intersection of University Drive and Layton Hall Drive.
View the project plans on Engage Fairfax. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, comments can be provided on the Engage page through March 7.
