Artist Bio: Kelly Snyder is an award-winning artist who draws inspiration from her experiences living in Europe and Asia while raising her children. Kelly primarily works in the medium of acrylic painting. Her eclectic style also includes mixed media, mural paintings, oils, and other arts and crafts.
Workshop details: You will learn to play and experiment with different materials- and how to make the best of all materials. You will get to create a small piece of art to take home with you. Supplies such as magazines, tissue paper, acrylic paint, crayons, markers, and of course glue on mixed media/watercolor paper will be provided. You are welcome to bring used wrapping paper, images, words, paper scraps and or stickers to use for the artwork. If you have favorite markers or stencils you like you are welcome to bring them with you to add your own flair. The Artist will start with some quick samples of her work, and share the process - so you can jump start and begin your own pieces on paper as background.
