Susan Inskeep Gray (Director, Office of Historic Resources,) will present the amazing story of Virginian Dr. Kate Waller Barrett’s leadership of organizations and initiatives to improve the lives of women and children. A founder of the Florence Crittenden Mission to aid unwed mothers and their children, Barrett extended her influence to suffrage, human trafficking, and other progressive movements in the early 20th century.

Don Hakenson and Chuck Mauro will talk about their latest book that is also a guide to the locations of the historical markers, safe houses and the graves of the men associated with the Chinquapin Rangers, the Iron Scouts and the “Grey Ghost,” Colonel John S. Mosby in Prince William County, Va. The book will be available for sale and signing.
