Historic Resources Director Susan Inskeep Gray presents the illustrated virtual talk "Kitty Barrett Pozer: Stepping Forward to Serve in World War I" at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14.
As a new bride, Kitty Barrett Pozer drove ambulances for the Canadian Ambulance Service Corps in England while her husband, Capt. Charles Henry Pozer, served with the Canadian Expeditionary Forces in France. They later became the owners of what we now call the Ratcliffe-Allison-Pozer House.

A multi-year project to re-examine flood zones in the City of Fairfax has been completed. Detailed digital flood hazard maps, known as Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs), have been developed and released for public view.

Rental Relief Available
Fairfax City residents who seek residential rent relief due to COVID-19 may apply for assistance through the Virginia Rental Relief Program. The program designed to support housing stability across the commonwealth during the pandemic. Depending on availability of funds and household need, the program may provide financial assistance for rent payments for eligible households.
