May is Mental Health Awareness Month 🧠
PWCS proudly joins schools and communities across the country in emphasizing the importance of mental wellness for students, staff, and families. This year’s theme, "The Heart of Well-Being," highlights that mental health is essential to overall health, learning, and meaningful connection.
All month long, we invite you complete activities from the wellness calendar, explore our resource page, and show support by wearing green on May 13. 💚
Families are also encouraged to register and attend a Parent Engagement Series session presented by the National Alliance on Mental Illness: Ending the Silence-Suicide Prevention Training from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 7. Individuals needing language accommodations may submit a request here.
Questions may be directed to Dr. Kelly Kaczmarczyk, coordinator of PWCS Heals, at kaczmaka@pwcs.edu.
