PWCS will host SAT Day testing for all juniors on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. This allows students to take the SAT at school during regular school hours at no cost.
PWCS offers SAT Day in order to:

Provide a familiar testing environment for students.

Eliminate the need for travel to test centers.
- Avoid weekend conflicts.
This is a great opportunity for all students, whether they anticipate going to college or into a career upon graduation. We encourage all juniors to participate!

PWCS is proud to celebrate Week of the Young Child April 11-17, a national celebration led by the National Association for the Education of Young Children that highlights the importance of early learning, young children, their families, and the educators who support them.
Week of the Young Child focuses on the needs of young children and emphasizes the value of hands-on, engaging learning opportunities that build strong foundations in literacy, math, social-emotional development, and creativity.

The PWCS School Board has approved a change to the 2025-26 school calendar, designating Tuesday, April 21, 2026, as a student non-attendance day and teacher workday. Learn more about this update.
🎒Kindergarten Registration is Now Open!
Is your child ready to start their PWCS journey? Kindergarten registration is now open for families with children who will be five years old by September 30. Kindergarten sets the foundation for learning, friendships, and a love of school.

🏫 Student Transfer Information
The application for non-specialty program student transfers for the 2026-27 school year is now open. This year, families will complete their applications using the online application system, Avela. Please note that transfer requests for childcare, health, or mental health reasons require an additional form.
The deadline for student transfer requests is April 30, 2026. Seats are filled on a first come, space available basis. Learn more on the Student Transfer webpage.
