New Copilot Rollout Date for High School Students 💻
PWCS has shifted the high school student release of Microsoft Copilot Chat for Students from February 2 to February 9, due to recent inclement weather.
The additional time will help ensure that high school students and teachers complete their training for a strong and well‑supported start. PWCS has developed training for both groups so students learn how to use Copilot responsibly, safely, and ethically, and high school educators are prepared to implement the tool in their classrooms. Teachers will also follow division guidelines that explain how to support students and model effective AI use.
Families can learn more on the Artificial Intelligence in PWCS webpage.

Parents and Guardians: Tell PWCS What Matters Most 📣
All PWCS parents and guardians are invited to share their experience with the school division by participating in the Gallup Divisionwide Family Engagement Survey, open from February 9 to February 27. Feedback from families will help guide school improvement efforts across the division.
All insights are confidential and will help PWCS understand and strengthen several key areas including school engagement and environment, academic standards, student strengths and development, and communication and leadership.
Parents and guardians may complete one survey for each student they have in PWCS. A survey link will be sent on February 9 through SchoolStatus.
PWCS has partnered with Gallup, a nationally recognized research organization that specializes in gathering reliable data through surveys and analytics, to conduct the survey. More information will be shared as the opening date approaches so families know what to expect and how to participate.
