Important bus transportation information for the 2025-26 school year
Â
Does your student need a bus next year? Let us know in ParentVUE beginning June 5
Â
To help us plan better bus routes and improve on-time service, we’re asking all families to log in to ParentVUE starting June 5 and let us know if your student will need bus transportation for the 2025–26 school year.
Â
Even if your student won’t need a bus, it’s important to let us know. The more accurate our information, the better we can serve all students. If your plans change later, just contact your child’s school to update your transportation preferences in ParentVUE.

New bus tracking app launches: EZ A2B will replace Here Comes the Bus
Â
PWCS is transitioning to a new bus tracking app, EZ A2B. Phase one began in April with a pilot on select buses, and feedback is already helping improve the app.
This summer, all PWCS Summer School buses will use EZ A2B. Families will receive detailed instructions before the school year ends. Full implementation across all PWCS buses begins with the 2025-26 school year.

Â
Changes to student-athlete participation requirements are being been made to comply with new state regulations, enhance safety, and streamline processes.
- Parents and guardians of middle and high school student-athletes must complete an online athletic registration for students to be eligible to participate in PWCS athletics.
- Effective July 1, 2025, all sports physicals must be completed using new state-mandated sports physical forms. All sports physicals must be submitted digitally through the online athletic registration, as paper copies will no longer be accepted.
- The online athletic registration process includes mandatory student-athlete safety education.

Cell Phone-Free Education Policy goes into effect August 2025
Â
As we wrap up the current school year, we want to remind families and students about an important policy going into effect at the start of the 2025–26 school year: the Bell-to-Bell Cell Phone Policy.
Â
What’s Changing?
Beginning August 2025, the following expectations will apply:
Â
Elementary Schools ➤ Cell phones and wireless devices must be turned off and stored during the entire school day, including field trips. ➤ Devices may be used only on school transportation.
Â
Middle and High Schools ➤ Cell phones and wireless devices must be off and stored from the tardy bell to dismissal, including during field trips. ➤ Devices may be used before and after school hours.
Â
Why This Matters This policy supports a focused learning environment and minimizes distractions, helping students stay engaged from bell to bell.
