Did you know ALL high schools offer Career and Technical Education Courses and Career Pathway opportunities?
CTE courses are:
- for ALL students – helping prepare them for the workforce or further education.
- available at ALL high schools – offering a selection of courses and pathways.
Career Pathways are:
- sequences of high school CTE courses that help students gain practical skills and real-world experience.
- an opportunity to explore passions, build in-demand job skills, and earn industry credentials, which may provide students with increased employment opportunities and/or college credit.
-
not transfer or transport programs, no Specialty Program application is needed!
Now is the perfect time to explore opportunities and find out which courses are available at your high school. Students should express interest in Career Pathways with their school counselor during the course selection process. School counselors help students select and enroll in the correct elective courses.
