The Student Vision Profile: Explore pathways for your student’s future 🔮
Families of students in grades 6-12 can now view the customized in ParentVUE and StudentVUE. This document provides valuable information for planning life after high school and making the most of the PWCS experience.
The SVP includes:
- Personal traits and career interests pulled from student’s assessments.
- Career plan pathway information.
- Suggested action steps for various post-high school paths (college, career, military, and work).
The SVP is available in the documents section of ParentVUE and StudentVUE and is translated into the family's correspondence language if applicable. An updated version of the Student Vision Profile will be available in June 2025 for students in grades 7-11.

Looking for SAT prep resources for your sophomore, junior or senior? View free resources available to you! 💻
Preparing for the SAT is important for college admissions, and PWCS offers several resources to help students succeed.
Khan Academy SAT Prep: All sophomores, juniors, and seniors in PWCS have access to Khan Academy’s free Official Digital SAT Prep through Clever. This resource provides personalized practice and instructional videos tailored to each student's needs.
Varsity Tutors SAT Prep: PWCS students can also take advantage of Varsity Tutors' SAT preparation courses. These include live, proctored practice tests and small group classes that cover key test-taking strategies and provide plenty of practice questions. Log into Varsity Tutors via Clever and search SAT resources. The next SAT Proctored Practice Test Prep Class begins on February 1.

SEAS the day! PWCS introduces its first Student Environmental Action Showcase (SEAS) 🌳
SAVE THE DATE! PWCS will host the inaugural Student Environmental Action Showcase (SEAS) from 5-7:30 p.m. on April 24, 2025, at Independence Nontraditional School. This event will highlight the inspirational work of students, clubs, and classes addressing environmental issues through hands-on actions, artistic expressions, and educational displays.
