2025-26 student instructional calendar approved
The Prince William County School Board has adopted the 2025-26 school calendar. The approved calendar aligns with community and staff input, providing a three-day Thanksgiving break, two weeks of winter break, and a teacher workday following spring break.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2025 Outstanding Educator Awards!

The scoop on scholarships and the FAFSA®
With the focus on how to finance continuing education during National Financial Aid Awarement month, seniors and families are encouraged to pursue scholarships. A scholarship is financial support awarded to a student based on academic achievement, need, or other criteria for the purpose of schooling. There are various types of scholarships and criteria that are determined by the awarding organization that also specifies how the money is to be applied. Youth Mental Health First Aid training available
PWCS, in partnership with PWC Community Services, is offering Youth Mental Health First Aid training for parents, guardians, and family members. Learn to identify and respond to adolescents facing mental health or substance use challenges The training will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Brentsville District High School. Registration is limited to 30 participants.
