Need help with Specialty Program application?
PWCS offers advanced academic, CTE specialty programs for all students. Applications are now open! If you or your student needs assistance, the Advanced Academics and Specialty Programs team is holding application help sessions virtually over the next several months. Absence notification for middle, high school students will be sent to parents twice a day
Effective Monday, November 13, a text message notifying parents/guardians of their middle and high school student’s absence will be sent between 10:20 and 10:30 a.m. and again at 7 p.m. This mid-morning notification is an additional effort to keep our families informed about their students' attendance at school. Text notifications to parents/guardians of elementary school students will continue to be sent between 10:20 and 10:30 a.m. when their students are absent.
Prince William County Public Schools celebrate National School Psychology Week
School psychologists provide direct support and interventions to students and consult with teachers, administrators, school social workers, and counselors to improve support strategies. They also work with administrators to improve school-wide practices and policies and collaborate with community providers to coordinate needed services.
