Potomac Shores Middle School Student Ambassadors welcome new students
The Student Ambassador program at Potomac Shores Middle School gives a warm welcome to new students. This programallows for a peer-to-peer connection for new students to meet with a student already at the school and establish an immediate connection. The new student can become familiar with their surroundings and faces in their new school before they start.
PWCS invites students, families to the fall PWCS College Fairs

Improving school attendance requires schools and families working together. We are gathering information from parents and guardians about their awareness on school attendance. Please take a few moments to help us by completing a short survey.
PWCS offers advanced academic, CTE specialty programs for all students
Specialty Program information sessions are held in October and November to explain each program and the application process. All sessions are held on Zoom and offered in English and Spanish.
Wednesday, October 4 was International Walk and Roll to School Day! Students across PWCS covered the distance to their school by biking or walking. The annual day increases focus on student fitness and serves as an important platform for promoting traffic safety awareness for walkers and drivers alike.
