How PWCS is preparing students for college and career readiness
Part of preparing students for college and career readiness includes the self-discovery process, career exploration, and post-high school planning.
-
Self-discovery fosters self-awareness, and students learn about themselves and identify their values, likes and dislikes, interpersonal skills, technical skills and more.
-
Career exploration is designed to help students make connections between academics and their future, including the world of work with the goal of having a stronger sense of self and self-knowledge.
-
Post-high school planning is the process that includes partnerships between the school, community, family, and student to create a meaningful individualized plan which aligns with the student's goals. This reflects their self-discovery, career explorations, and the associated education or training needed after high school.
Visit the College & Career Readiness page for more information.
