Patriot High School hosts 9th annual First Responders Breakfast

Culinary Arts students at Patriot High School honored local first responders with a buffet breakfast. This annual event is a way for the school and students to say thank you to those who serve their community every day.

College and Career Counselors Promote National Scholarship Awareness Month

PWCS is partnering with the National Scholarship Providers Association in recognizing November as National Scholarship Awareness Month to help students learn about, search, source, and apply for scholarship money to aid in their post-secondary education. In PWCS, local, national, and college-specific scholarships are promoted through Naviance.

PWCS recognizes National Apprenticeship Week November 14-20

During National Apprenticeship Week, November 14-20, 2022, PWCS emphasizes the work-based learning experiences our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offer to students. Students in our CTE programs have access to paid summer internships and Youth Registered Apprenticeship (YRA) opportunities. CTE provides pathways for students to develop skills and gain confidence for success in post-secondary education and the workplace. PWCS is increasing and strengthening partnerships with local businesses, local trade unions and philanthropic communities to attain more apprenticeship and internship opportunities for our students. Information and Instructional Technology will be performing emergency maintenance on PWCS systems and applications on Sunday, November 20. The following application(s) will be affected: Division-wide internet access, including the guest network VPN Access Intranet Cloud-based applications such as Outlook, Office 365, The Hub, and Canvas will be available outside of the PWCS network.

Schools and offices will be closed November 23-25. Have a safe and healthy Thanksgiving!
