Falcon Force takes flight at Ashland Elementary School
Ashland Elementary School launched Falcon Force this year, a program aimed at having parent and family engagement an integral part of the education experience. Volunteers spend their day in classrooms and get the opportunity to have lunch and recess with their children.

PWCS recognizes National Apprenticeship Week November 14-20
During National Apprenticeship Week, November 14-20, 2022, PWCS emphasizes the work-based learning experiences our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offer to students. Students in our CTE programs have access to paid summer internships and Youth Registered Apprenticeship (YRA) opportunities. CTE provides pathways for students to develop skills and gain confidence for success in post-secondary education and the workplace. PWCS is increasing and strengthening partnerships with local businesses, local trade unions and philanthropic communities to attain more apprenticeship and internship opportunities for our students.
