Family Science Night at Fred M. Lynn Middle School reinforces parent and teacher partnerships
Scott Markley values the connections he makes with students in his physical science class at Fred M. Lynn Middle School every day, but he also knows the connections he makes with the parents are equally valuable. He hosted Family Science Night to reinforce the team mentality between parents, students, and himself that he knows is necessary for student success.

Prince William County Public Schools provides excellent specialty programs for students in elementary, middle, and high school that focus on career exploration, subject area concentration, and college/university preparation. Specialty Program information nights are held in October and offer an overview of each program and the application process. Program specific information sessions are held by the school offering/hosting the program.

Sexual Harassment Under Title IX How to Support Your Child and School 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11 - Virtual Webinar
Presentation will cover what sexual harassment is, how PWCS responds to allegations of sexual harassment, and how to assist PWCS in preventing sexual harassment.

Information and Instructional Technology will be performing routine maintenance on PWCS systems and applications this Sunday, October 9. Division-wide internet access, including the guest network, VPN access, and intranet will be affected. Cloud-based applications such as Outlook, Office 365, The Hub, and Canvas will be available outside of the PWCS network.
