Antietam Elementary School students conduct 'out of this world' experiments
Do tomato seeds from the International Space Station grow faster than tomato seeds from earth? Can we grow plants in test tubes with a gel-based growth medium here on earth like they do at the International Space Station? These are the questions that Antietam Elementary School first graders are trying to answer with classroom experiments.

School Board selects student representatives, alternate for 2022-23 school year
At the June 1 meeting, the Prince William County School Board selected Chance Williams, a rising senior at Forest Park High School, and Daania Sharifi, a rising senior at Gainesville High School, as student representatives to the School Board for the 2022-23 school year. Christian Daniels, a rising senior at C.D. Hylton High School, was selected as the alternate.
