Good News
Take a "look" at local Lions Club vision-screening efforts in our schools
PWCS is fortunate to partner with local chapters of the Lions Club who generously volunteer to provide more comprehensive vision screening for students at many of our schools. With parental permission granted, the Lions Club members conduct the screenings that can detect many sight deficiencies. The results are provided to the school nurse who then notifies parents if an eye exam by a doctor is recommended. If financial assistance is needed for the eye exam and/or to purchase glasses, the Lions Club help with the costs.
