Congratulations to the 122 middle and 99 high school students whose projects were selected to compete at the 2022 Prince William-Manassas Regional Science and Engineering Fair. In a show of girl power, Freedom High School’s first all-female robotics team, Team Eris, competed at this year's VEX Robotics States.
“To be on an all-girls team it feels inspiring, especially when you're younger and you see a male dominated field,” said team member and Freedom High student Nneka.

Veronica Miller fell in love with music as a PWCS student, beginning at Potomac View Elementary School and graduating from Forest Park High School. Now the orchestra teacher at Potomac High School, Miller directs students with the same passion for music she saw as a young musician in the Division.

Gabriela Molina Otaiza, a sophomore at Charles J. Colgan High School, took home this year’s Grand Prize at the Prince William Service Authority's Water Art Invitational. Her submission, a realistic painting featuring a family of sea turtles, embodied this year’s theme, “Water: Our Most Precious Resource.” Read more.

Gar-Field High School is bringing student musicians of all skill levels together through a ukulele class, the first of its kind to be offered in the Division. The versatility of the ukulele makes it easy to learn, even for students new to playing an instrument.
