Parent volunteers put the break in lunch break at Pattie Elementary School
Teachers are ever-present to students in PWCS. From greeting students as they arrive and providing structured learning in the classroom, to monitoring hallways during class changes and ushering students to their electives, teachers appreciate a small amount of time to focus on other tasks. Parent volunteers at Pattie Elementary School are partnering with educators to change that daily reality and provide much-needed relief to teachers during lunch.
Next week, PWCS is partnering with the American School Counselors Association to celebrate National School Counseling Week—"School Counseling: Better Together." Join us in recognizing the unique contributions of both school and college and career counselors within PWCS. Professional school counselors have a tremendous impact in helping students achieve school success and creating a future where all students thrive. Visit our webpage to learn about the school counselor role and other counseling resources.
