February is American Heart Month. Join Superintendent Dr. LaTanya D. McDade in the American Heart Association’s Heart Challenge. Schools will be rewarded with new physical education equipment for reaching fundraising goals and students will learn healthy and active habits while giving back to others in need.

Having a ball — Cosmic bowling lights up students' worlds at Marshall Elementary School
With colorful decorations and bright lights, the Marshall Elementary School physical education teachers transformed the gym into "Eagle Lanes" for cosmic bowling. This environment made learning the sport even more fun and engaging for students.

This conference is designed to empower parents, prekindergarten through 12th grade, to advocate for their child and navigate the Section 504 or special education process to ensure successful outcomes.
The School Board will hold a public meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2.

In this video Board Brief, Prince William County School Board Vice Chairwoman and Brentsville District representative, Adele Jackson, discusses her goals for the school year. A variety of infrastructure improvements at several Brentsville District schools are also highlighted.
The improvements to Unity Reed and Brentsville District High Schools, and Gainesville Middle School "continue our commitment to maintaining school facilities that support the health and success of all of our students," says Jackson.
