Emergency Cards and annual acknowledgements and consents are online in ParentVUE
The New School Year Packet, where parents/guardians can review emergency cards, update contact information, and complete annual policy reviews and acknowledgements, is now available in ParentVUE.
All families should complete the New School Year Packet as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, September 17, 2021.The information you provide will allow school staff to ensure the safety of your student this school year.
- Log into the ParentVUE app or the ParentVUE website using your ParentVUE UserID and password.
- Once logged into ParentVUE, click the Online Records button at the top of the screen.
If you need assistance, or do not have an active ParentVUE account, please contact your child’s school.

Meet Amy Schott – New Principal of Henderson Elementary School
Amy Schott is the proud new principal of Henderson Elementary School. Schott has been with Prince William County Public Schools since 2001. She has been a teacher, an assistant principal, and the principal of Rockledge Elementary School for the last 13 years. Schott was the Prince William County Public Schools 2020-21 Principal of the Year.
“I want all of our students to feel the confidence that they can impact and change the world,” shared Schott, who looks forward to working with the staff, parents, and students at Henderson Elementary. Go Huskies!

A school-wide scavenger hunt at Potomac Shores Middle School offered rising sixth grade students a fun way to explore the new school and learn its layout over the summer before they start the school year.

Rippon Middle School hosts Student Success Academy
It can be a challenge for some students to start middle or high school. To help with this transition, Rippon Middle School offered a week-long Student Success Academy. Students learned organizational skills, time management, social skills, and other tips that will help them experience a successful school year. Miyoshi Byrd, summer assistant principal said, “We hope to prepare them in every aspect of learning, so they will have a full rounded experience in middle school and high school.”
