Please Reboot Your PWCS Issued Computer Weekly
|
Students and staff are encouraged to reboot their PWCS devices (laptops, iPads, Kindles) weekly to ensure important security updates are applied. Weekends are often a good opportunity to power cycle your devices and to be sure they're ready for the next school week. If devices aren't rebooted manually, there may be times where automatic reboots will be required to ensure security updates are applied. Rebooting yourselves, when convenient for you, is the best way to avoid any automatic reboots and ensure your device is secure. If automatic reboots are required, PWCS will schedule them over the weekend to minimize any disruptions. These automatic updates will begin this weekend.
