Children who will be 5 years old on or before September 30, 2021, are eligible to enroll in kindergarten in Prince William County Public Schools for the 2021-22 school year. Online registration for the 2021-22 school year will open on March 22 and run through April 23, 2021.

The Virginia Mathematics Pathways Initiative (VMPI) is a joint initiative between the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), the State Council of Higher Education in Virginia, and the Virginia Community College System. VMPI seeks to redefine mathematics course options for students in the Commonwealth to ensure that the mathematics in which students are engaging is relevant to their postsecondary aspirations. |
You are invited to attend upcoming information sessions to learn more about VMPI. Participation in these sessions will help the VDOE, and ultimately PWCS, redefine math course options.

Meet the Principal - Xanthe McFadden
Xanthe McFadden is the new principal of John D. Jenkins Elementary School and is focused on bringing out the leadership in others.
“It is up to us as educators to help students see the potential in themselves,” explains McFadden. “We need to make sure that we have the same idea of ensuring that our students are achieving success and realizing that they’re leaders.”
