PWCS will welcome second and third grades for in-person learning next week
Second and third-grade students who opted for the 50 percent hybrid model will return to in-person learning beginning January 12.
Note: Superintendent Dr. Steve Walts presented an updated plan for returning students in grades 4 through 12 to school buildings during the School Board meeting on January 6. The School Board voted to discuss the plan further during a special meeting scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12.

Email your health and safety questions
Submit questions or concerns about the implementation of the PWCS Health Plan and other health mitigation strategies in school buildings, 24 hours a day, by sending an email to healthandsafety@pwcs.edu. This email is monitored by staff members poised to provide an answer. If a concern is shared about a specific school, a staff member will reach out to the building principal for more information.

On Sunday, January 10, 2021, Information Technology Services will be performing routine maintenance on PWCS systems and applications.
Division-wide internet access, including the guest network, VPN access, and Intranet will be affected between 7-9 a.m.
Cloud-based applications such as Outlook, Office 365, The Hub, and Canvas will be available outside of the PWCS network.

Meet the Principal - Starr Granby
Dumfries Elementary School welcomed Starr Granby as principal this past November. Granby is no stranger to PWCS, having graduated from Hylton High School and serving the Division as a teacher and assistant principal for many years. She looks forward to leading the Dragon family.
