Join the Wolfpack Wobble! Our schoolwide fundraiser is underway, and every donation helps support field trips, classroom supplies, and programs like Food for Thought. Students can earn weekly visits to the prize cart by earning a Wolf Way Paw in class or by registering a fundraising page. At the end of the campaign, top individual fundraisers will earn Principal for a Day, and the three classes with the most paws and fundraising totals will celebrate with an Arcade Truck Party. Register and share using the QR code on the flyer. Thank you for supporting our school!

Our first Attendance Challenge of the year kicks off November 4th! The challenge will run through December 18, when we leave for winter break.
The goal is for each class to have 10 days of perfect attendance. Every time a class reaches 10 days, they’ll earn a prize—and classes can earn up to three prizes during the challenge!
We’ll track everyone’s progress on the attendance board so we can all see how each class is doing. At the end of the challenge, the class with the most perfect-attendance days will celebrate with a HOT CHOCOLATE PARTY!
Let’s cheer on our students and see how many classes can reach the goal. Thanks for helping make this a fun challenge!
Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) provides a comprehensive, sequential Family Life Education (FLE) program for students in grades kindergarten through grade twelve. Instruction is seen as a partnership among parents and guardians, the school, and the community in supporting the learning essential to the development of strong families, positive relationships, and a healthy community.
Parents/guardians may choose to opt their child out of all or part of the Family Life Education program. Students who are opted out are provided with age-appropriate, nonpunitive alternative health instruction, and every effort is made to foster respect for family choices. If you wish to opt your child out of all or part of FLE for this school year, opt out forms are available in Parent Digital Consent. Paper opt-out forms are available from your child’s school. Students receiving special education services and accessing modified curriculum will receive a printed opt-out form for modified FLE lessons.
Detailed grade-level program descriptions are available online at Elementary (K-6) , Middle School (7-8) , and High School (9-12). FLE grade level-specific lessons and media that FCPS has streaming rights for are available for parents online in Schoology. Parents/guardians login to Schoology using the same username and password as their Student Information System (SIS) Parent account. Grade level-specific lessons are also available at the City of Fairfax Regional Library (this location does not have media). Grade level-specific lessons and media that is not streamed online are available for review at your child’s school library. Due to copyright permissions, we are unable to stream all media online.
Program questions may be addressed at your child’s school or by contacting Instructional Services at 571-423-4550 or by email to fle@fcps.edu.

Please Return Your Federal Impact Aid Survey
FCPS is asking all families to fill out a Federal Impact Aid Survey. The form is available in SIS ParentVUE under Online Packets, which is in the upper right corner of the screen after logging in. Please complete it as soon as possible. Schools will provide paper forms to families who have not completed the survey in ParentVUE starting Wednesday, October 28.
Completing this form for each school-aged child in every household is how we ensure we receive all the resources available to us from the federal government. For more information, please visit the Federal Impact Aid Survey page.

Help Your Student Stay Focused and Engaged Without Digital Distractions
Please remind your student that personal electronic communication or computing devices should be off and personally stored (i.e., in backpacks) for the duration of the school day: bell to bell.
This includes personal laptops, tablets, smartwatches, smartphones, and similar devices. Students can only use FCPS-issued devices for school-related digital activities during the instructional day. There are exceptions for students with disabilities and those enrolled in specific courses.
If you need to reach your student during the school day, please call the school’s front office. Learn more about the FCPS cellphone policy and device policy.
