🍋 Introducing the Lemonade Entrepreneurs Club Some of our 6th graders came up with the idea of a student-run lemonade stand, and with the school’s support we’re turning it into a monthly club open to every interested student. The 6th graders will lead the stands and mentor younger students, with a parent volunteer at each one. Along the way, students will practice teamwork, planning, handling money and customer service. Proceeds will go toward a special celebration for the whole school. We need parent volunteers to get it started. If you’re interested, email SpringfieldEstatesPTA@gmail.com.

🚌 4th Grade Families: Jamestown Spring 2027 This spring, our 4th graders will visit Historic Jamestown! To keep the trip as affordable as possible for every student, the PTA is collecting donations to lower the cost for all 4th graders. Look for the Jamestown flyer in your child’s take-home folder. It explains how to give online at <tinyurl.com/Jamestown2027>, drop off cash, or send a check. Questions? Contact Kristen Paasch at leadbea7@gmail.com.

📚 Reading Fundraiser: We’re Almost There! Our Read-A-Fun fundraiser is close to its school-wide goal, and we need one last push! If we reach $2,500, students earn a PJ & Stuffy Day. At $3,500, everyone gets an ice cream party at lunch! The fundraiser ends Friday, November 13. Log reading minutes and invite family and friends to sponsor. You can also send in cash or a check made out to “SEES PTA,” and it will count toward our total. Questions? Email SpringfieldEstatesPTA@gmail.com.
