No School - School Planning Day & Teacher Workday |
On Friday, October 16, staff and students took a break and enjoyed Wellness Day activities at the end of the day. Students were able to vote for counselor meeting topics, play games like basketball, corn hole, badminton, and Mario Kart, sing karaoke, create key chains, decorate mirror compacts, paint rocks, and much more!
Greetings Bryant Families!
It is hard to believe we are already just two weeks away from the end of the first quarter! As we approach the end of the quarter, we are encouraging all our students to finish strong by turning in any overdue assignments and taking advantage of retake opportunities so they can end the quarter on a high note.
This past week, our school community took a well-earned break to connect and recharge during our monthly Wellness hour. As you can see from the photos above, students enjoyed choosing from a variety of engaging, relaxing activities! We are already looking forward to our next Wellness Day on Monday, November 23.
We also have a fantastic community opportunity coming up for our families! Our Region 3 Family Liaisons are hosting a Family Café series titled Growing Together: Talking About Social-Emotional Learning at Home. Social-emotional learning equips students with confidence, resilience, and self-awareness, skills that fuel success both in the classroom and beyond. We hope you will join us on Wednesday, October 21 at 6:30 PM at the Kingstowne Regional Library. Please use this link to sign up!
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting your child’s academic and emotional well-being. Let’s make these final two weeks of the quarter count!
Take Care!

Survey Extended! Share Your Feedback on Traveling to and From School
The FCPS Office of Safety and Security and Safe Routes to School program are asking families to share their experiences traveling to and from their child’s school. The feedback will help inform the Fairfax County School Board’s annual assessment of traffic and pedestrian safety near schools.
The Traffic and Pedestrian Safety Survey asks about walking and biking routes, traffic near schools, kiss-and-ride experiences, accessibility, and other safety concerns. Your feedback will help FCPS identify common issues. Your responses will be kept confidential and shared with school administrators and the Office of Safety and Security.
The survey takes about five minutes to complete and will be open through Tuesday, October 20.
Please note that parents may now submit more than one response to provide feedback regarding different schools. Be sure to identify the school related to your feedback and include specific locations where you have observed a safety issue. If you have students at different schools in FCPS, please complete a different survey for each school.
If you have any questions about the survey, please contact SafeRoutestoSchool@fcps.edu.
