Good afternoon, Fox Mill Families,

It was a busy and joyful week at Fox Mill! Mr. Moose and I visited classrooms and saw teaching and learning in action. Students were engaged in station activities, and small groups worked closely with teachers.

Our PTA held a morning meeting on Thursday. If attending an evening meeting is challenging for your schedule, we’d love for you to join us at a Thursday morning meeting.

We also welcomed our official FCPS school photographer, who captured some wonderful moments from the school day. We look forward to sharing those special memories with you!

International Jubilee- November 6th 6pm- 8pm

Celebrate the World at Fox Mill’s International Jubilee!

Get ready for a wonderful celebration of the cultures, traditions, and stories that make our Fox Mill community so special! We invite parents to be part of the fun by sharing a favorite dish from your native country and creating a display board with photos, artwork, or artifacts that help students learn about your culture.

Students will have the chance to explore our International Café, discover new flavors, and learn about countries around the world. And for any picky eaters who feel a little shy about trying something new, free pizza will be available too!

We hope you’ll join us in making this a joyful, delicious, and unforgettable celebration for our students and families!

Please email Mrs. Allie Greene or Ms. Denton if you would like to be a part of this cultural extravaganza.

The Fairfax County Youth Survey

The Fairfax County Youth Survey, a collaboration between the Fairfax County School Board and the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, is a comprehensive, anonymous, and voluntary survey given each year to students in grades 6, 8, 10 and 12. The survey examines behaviors, experiences, and other factors that influence the health and well-being of Fairfax County's youth. Results are published annually at https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/youthsurvey and help identify trends, understand students' strengths and needs, and guide efforts to support the health and well-being of Fairfax County youth.  Parents of sixth graders will be notified of the date when this survey will be conducted.
