Dear KJMS Families,
We’re grateful to staff members Mrs. Holmes and Mrs. Marris for their dedication to earning our Purple Star designation and supporting our military-connected families. Thank you as well to the families who joined us for last night’s Multilingual Learner (ML) Potluck and to our ML teachers for bringing everyone together.
Looking ahead to the end of the school year, please mark June 1–14 as our SOL testing window. FCPS middle school testing has been moved later in the calendar to meet VDOE requirements. We encourage families to avoid scheduling trips and appointments during this time so students can be present for their tests.
A reminder that students can get extra help in the Learners Lab after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (see details below). Also, we invite families to join the PTA and take part in our school community.
If you have any questions or concerns you can contact our main office at 703-934-2400 or contact me directly at cmsmith@fcps.edu.
Enjoy your weekend!
