Fall Community Flyer Distribution
As outlined by FCPS Regulation 1367.2, school principals shall offer options to nonprofit organizations that want to make their materials available to students and parents. Please see the flyers we have collected below for our fall nonprofit flyer distribution.
If you or your organization would like to participate in Great Falls ES’s fall community flier distribution through News You Choose, please send fliers to Colleen Murphy, cpmurphy@fcps.edu.
Non-profit organizations are welcome to participate. School representatives must approve all fliers before distribution. We will send our spring community flier distribution in Spring 2027. We must receive all community fliers by April 2, 2027.
 NextStop Theatre Education Programs
NextStop Theatre offers day camps on FCPS no-school days for elementary students in grades 1–6, plus theatre workshops for students in grades 6–12. Elementary camps feature musicals including KPop Demon Hunters, Anastasia, Hamilton, and Seussical. Workshops include stage combat, improv, Shakespeare, technical theatre, and acting. Camps cost $85 per day, with multi-student discounts and scholarships available. Visit NextStopTheatre.org for details.
Become a Foster Parent
For Children’s Sake invites community members to become foster parents. The organization provides free training, case management support, and 24/7 crisis intervention. Volunteer opportunities include community outreach, fundraising, event assistance, skilled support, and childcare. Northern Virginia Rugby
Northern Virginia Rugby invites boys and girls ages 4–18 to play fall rugby. The flyer promotes learning the game and making friends. Players ages 4–10 play no-contact rugby; ages 10–18 play tackle. A free tryout is offered. Visit RugbyVA.com or scan the QR code for details.
Join Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital invites girls in grades K–12 to join. Great Falls Elementary already has troops for grades K–6. Scouts can earn badges, explore the outdoors, sell cookies, and lead service projects. Registration is at gscnc.org, and financial assistance is available. Traveling Players Acting Classes and Plays
Traveling Players offers acting and improv classes, slapstick comedy, tech crew, and advanced acting for grades 1–12. The flyer invites students to take a free classes.
