KJMS After-School Program: Communication & Dismissal Updates

Dear KJMS Families,

To ensure smooth and safe afternoons, please review the following reminders regarding student communication and dismissals:

Coordinate Plans in Advance: Please discuss after-school plans with your student before they arrive at school so they know which clubs or activities they are attending and how they are getting home.

Personal Device Use: Students are permitted to use their cell phones or personal devices during after-school hours specifically to coordinate with families. We strongly encourage students to check in with you—especially when arranging pick-up at Kiss & Ride.

Staff Contact During After-School Hours: If you have immediate questions, concerns, or changes in plans between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, reach our team directly at KJMSAfterSchool@fcps.edu

Thank you for your partnership in keeping dismissal efficient and safe for everyone!
