Lion Loop Fun Run Update from the PTA!

Good afternoon, Lane families!

Flyers with details about the upcoming Lane Lion Loop Fun Run on October 2 did not make it into Wednesday Folders, so we are sending the key information out digitally.

Please Note:

  • You DO NOT need to register your student. All students’ first names, last initial, grade, and class are included on the Lion Loop website.
  • Here is the Fun Run schedule (30 minutes running with a 15-minute transition time). Run times may change if the run is moved indoors due to bad weather.
    • 4th & 6th Grade: 9:40 to 10:25 a.m.
    • 3rd & 5th Grade: 11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    • Kindergarten: 12:55 to 1:40 p.m.
    • 1st Grade: 1:40 to 2:25 p.m.
    • 2nd Grade: 2:30 to 3:15 p.m.
  • You can find donation links on the Lane PTA Lion Loop website. Funds raised will support field trips and other PTA projects for the school. This year’s goal is $25,000.
    • When you click the “Donate” button, you can choose whether a student or a classroom receives credit for your donation.
    • On the donation page, search your student’s name and open their page to view their donation activity and send their fundraising link to family members by selecting “Share” on their page.
  • Parents have the option of running with their student this year. Just purchase a $5 Run With My Lion ticket. It’s listed on the website under “Extras.” Tickets are limited.

  • The PTA needs lots of volunteers throughout the day on October 2. If you’d like to help, you can view the opportunities and sign up here.
